Blarney castle is mostly in ruins but the grounds surrounding the castle are immense and contains a number of different gardens and sculptures. The Blarney Stone is at the top of Blarney castle and is a stone that is part of the castle. In order to kiss the blarney stone you have to lay on your back and grab 2 medal bars and pull yourself down far enough so you can kiss it.

You have to climb a pretty narow spiral staircase with uneven steps to get to the Blarney Stone, this is at the top of the castle waiting in line to kiss the blarney stone

A view of some of the castle ruins from the top of the castle

the "murder hole", defenders of the castle would drop rocks, hot oil, etc on invaders. The cast iron bars are for tourist safety.

Entrance to the caves under Blarney Castle, used to escape from the castle if necessary

Inside the escape caves, they caves don't go anywher any more so I'm asuming they colapsed over the years.

An interesting path way

Some rock where they couldn't figure out how they big one got on placed on top of the little one.

I liked this waterfall but if you look to the left you will see a set of stairs going up those are the witches steps and irish lore says that if you go up and down the stairs with your eyes shut thinking of a wish without falling the wish will come true.

This is thew witches stone, there is suppossed to be a witch trapped in the stone. It kinda looks like a witch

Some plants from the poison garden, all the plants in this garden are poisonous.

Another poisonous plant

For some reason they had marijuana in the poisonous garden, behind this metal barricade.
