Dali Museum, not really a theatre but the building used to be a theatre before it was converted to a museum. I enjoyed this museum.

This is what you see almost as soon as you enter the museum. It's Al Capone's car and the statue on top was done by one of Dali's friends. On the passenger side window looks like a rock has been thrown through it and if you push a button it starts raining inside the car.

ree
A view where you can see the upside down boat on the top of the column that seems to be made of tire treads. And you can see the massive painting through the window behind it.

ree
Panoramic view of the same room looking away from the giant painting.

ree
Photo of the same room. You can see that Dali has incorporated some sinks and drawers into his art.

ree
The massive painting behind the car and through the glass wall.

This looks like a painting of Lincoln right? Zoom in on the photo and you'll see the backside of a naked woman. The woman is all you see when you look at it with the naked eye but when you take a photo you can see Lincoln.

This is part of a huge face. You have to walk up on aplatform to get the whole picture. If you look at the eyes you will see there are a couple of figures looking at the center. From close up you can't really tell it's an eye.

ree
This is one of Dali's more famous paintings, it is in a lot of text books. The green column in the middle of the painting is a neck tie and if you follow it up you can see the face on top of it.

ree
There is also a Dali Jewel exhibit of some of the jewelry Dali made for some rich Americans. This eye is part of that exhibit.

Another piece from the Jewels exhibit.

What a cool museum! Just what I'd expect from Salvador Dali.
