Grant Zoology museum isn't really a museum more of a large room filled with skeletons, fossils, and preserved animals. Definitely interesting and worth a look.



A little cove that looks like a light table all the way around that has a series of these specimens displayed

Lion Skeleton

Bat specimens and skeletons

parasitic worm specimens

Can't remember what these are, but the name was familiar and it was something i didn't think was real.

Ramphorhynchus fossil and cast.

These spcimens have been prepared using a technique called "Alizarin" that makes the soft tissue clear and the bone appear pink.

I think they are sea horse skeletons, which I thought were not real either (they used to see them in ads in the back of comic books when I was a kid). The parasitic are gross as is that red screaming thing in the last photo. But cool pictures.
