La Rambla

This is the street known by most tourist. There are several La Rambla in Barcelona and all over Spain. La Rambla refers to a street that used to be river, or at least that is what one of the tour guides from a day trip I had taken earlier said.

The wave design of the road is supposed to symbolize the water that used to be here.
