Tower of London

Tower of London was pretty interesting, unfortunately this was the day it rained.

The Audio Guide was OK but a little confusing as to when you were supposed to move on and sometimes I got a little lost.

No pictures were allowed of the crown jewels so you don't get to see them but it was interesting to find out that most of the original crown jewels were melted down by Cromwell when he abolished the Monarchy, the crown jewels that they have now were created for Charles II and the Monarchs that came after.

The White Tower. The main tower in the middle of the site. It has exhibits of armor and weapons inside.

Originally instead of the armor there were wood carvings of king and horses. These are the heads of some of those original statues.

You can see the line to get into the crown jewels exhibit. If you go in the morning right when it opens the lines are much smaller

The house with the guard in front of it is the only original house left, or something like that.
